Meet Glencoe's Greenest Home
The new home on Washington Street perfectly complements its traditional neighborhood, but inside it’s anything but conventional. A significant lesson in sustainable design, the Slotnick residence is one of the state’s first LEED Platinum homes, possibly making it Glencoe's Greenest Home. On January 24th at 7:30 you'll be able to learn all about it from the architect, Nathan Kipnis, who also will provide an overview of green concepts that may be used in both new and renovation projects. Homeowners Natalie and Barry Slotnick will be present to speak about what it’s like to live in their green home. Mr.Kipnis is the principal of Kipnis Architecture + Planning, an Evanston firm that specializes in green and sustainable architectural practices.
