Refuge: Stories of the Selfhelp Home is a documentary about the last generation of Holocaust survivors in Chicago and we will screen it on
Sunday, October 21st at 3:00pm. Through historical narrative, archival footage, and personal testimony, the film explores the lives of six Chicagoans against the context of the Nazi cataclysm and tells the story of a community that has given refuge to more than 1,000 central European Jewish refugees and survivors.
