On Tuesday, July 29th at 7:30 pm you can learn how to make the most of it from Hanna Stotland, a college admissions consultant with over a decade of experience. College on the Horizon: What 8th - 11th Graders Need to Know

Long before you fill out actual college applications, you lay the groundwork for what your applications can contain. Sandra Gilbert and Pat Cannon of Ravinia College Consulting will be here on Wednesday, February 12 at 7:30 pm to present for students looking to take a strategic, long view of the admissions process. Subjects covered will include the importance of knowing one’s strengths and weaknesses, academic balance, and the extra-curricular activities, work and/or family obligations that demonstrate commitment and leadership. Year-by-year suggestions for the best way to prepare for college, what colleges are looking for, and examples of pitfalls to avoid will be included. Both students and parents are welcome!
