The library will close at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 24, and remain closed through Thursday, December 25. The library will also close at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 31, and remain closed through Thursday, January 1. We are always open through our website!

Thanksgiving Hours

The library will close at 5:00 on Wednesday, November 26th and will remain closed on Thursday, November 27th for Thanksgiving. It will reopen on Friday, November 28th at 9:00. The library is always open online through its website and online catalog!

Library Closed for Labor Day

The library will be closed on Monday, September 1st in celebration of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday the 2nd. You can always access our databases and online catalog through our website or our app!

Library Closed July 4th

The library will be closed on Friday, July 4th and will reopen on Saturday the 5th. Our website is always open for holds, renewals, downloadables and more!!! Have a great Independence Day!

Library closed on Sunday and Monday

The library will be closed on Sunday, May 25 and Monday, May 26. We will reopen on Tuesday the 27th. You can always place holds and renew books through our online catalog and mobile app!

Library hours during holidays

Closed for Thanksgiving

The library will close at 5:00 on Wednesday the 27th and will remain closed on Thursday the 28th. We will reopen for regular hours on Friday the 29th. Be sure to bring the kids to a special Thanksgiving storytime on Friday at 10:30!

Library Closed for Memorial Day

The Glencoe Public Library will be closed on Sunday, May 27th and Monday, May 28th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday, the 28th. Have a great holiday!

Closed Labor Day

The library will be closed on Monday, September 5th in observance of Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday the 6th.

Closed Memorial Day / Summer Sundays

We will be closed on May 30th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. We will also be closed on Sundays beginning May 29th and running through September 4th. Don't forget - our website and catalog are open 24 hours a day!

Thanksgiving Hours

The Glencoe Public Library will be closed on Thanksgiving, the 25th.  We will also be closing at 5:00 on the previous day (Wednesday the 24th).  Regular hours resume on Friday the 26th.  Be sure to stock up on your holiday reading, listening and viewing while you can!
