Glencoe architect Scott Javore returns with a program on the evolution of the North Shore and how it affected the development and architecture of Glencoe. He’ll discuss how Chicago’s growth in the 1860s and 1870s acted as a catalyst for suburban development, the early years of Glencoe’s history, and the evolution of Glencoe architecture from the 1850s through the 1920s.
