On the day the Chinese New Year begins -
Sunday, February 10th at 2:00 - the library’s program room will be transformed into a Chinese cultural festival! A tea tasting, a calligraphy demonstration, and a lecture on the Shen Yun performing arts exhibition will draw you into this ancient culture. The event is presented by Shen Yun Show Chicago, a non-profit organization that seeks to revive traditional Chinese culture. This program is appropriate for adults and for children in approximately sixth grade and up.
