Winter Activities for the Kids

Anxious to get the kids out of the house this winter? Bring them to the library where we'll be offering lots of programs for the little ones! On Tuesday, December 27th kids ages 4-6 can enjoy our Explore with Kerri and Kim program. They'll join local teachers Kerri Ringel and Kim Bloomberg in exploring buildings through fact and fiction as well as hands-on activities. There is a 9:30 session and a 10:45 session. For this program, registration is required to ensure sufficient materials.

Come back on December 29th at 11:00 or 2:00 when magician Dennis DeBondt (left) - one of the funniest (and tallest) magicians around - returns to the library  While this program is designed for school age children, younger children may attend; children age 8 and up may attend independently. Registration is not required.

We will also be offering seasonal Family Storytime at 10:30 on both Wednesday the 28th and Friday the 30th. These programs are targeted towards 3 -6 year olds. We'd love to see the grandparents, other relatives and special friends at these storytimes!
