Writer and director Ronit Elkmbetz stars as an Israeli woman attempting to divorce her manipulative husband in a religious legal system wherein only rabbis can grant a gett, the dissolution of a marriage - and then - only with a husband's consent.
Gett has been praised by audiences and critics alike as a brilliantly acted, tightly wound drama. John Anderson of Newday called Gett, "...suspenseful, wonderfully acted, emotionally jarring." The film is 115 minutes long and is unrated.
